Assessment Assignment #1
Due
Oct. 14, 2008.
Select one unit from the textbook you will be using in your student
teaching. Write up a paper and pencil test. The test must be doable in
45 minutes and have questions from all levels of Bloom's taxonomy. You
will identify which level you believe each question targets. You will
include an answer key and a grading rubric. You are not allowed to use
any straight true/false questions and only a maximum of 20% of your
exam can
be made up of multiple choice questions. You will bring enough copies to give one to each classmate
and to Dr. Kitts. These copies will be needed for an additional
activity.
Assessment Assignment #2
Due
Oct. 28, 2008.
Select one unit from the textbook you will be using in your student
teaching. Develop and prepare one performance-based activity that lasts
no longer than 15-20 minutes. Have your classmates perform this
activity
in class on Oct. 28 and assess them.
You must turn in your assessments
and your reflections on how effective your choice of instrument was by
9 am Wed. Oct. 29, 2008. Why do
you have to turn this in so quickly?
Because your students will need immediate feedback and you meet with
them everyday. It's called reality.
