Inventory
Assignment
Due
October 14, 2008.
- Ask your cooperating taecher/department head whether there
is an inventory available for you to look at. Explain that you are
exploring what is available so that you can plan your lessons for next
semester.
- If no inventory exists for you to start with, make up your
own. (Then share it with your coop later. This will make him or her
VERY happy.)
- The inventory needs to include:
- all science equipment available for student use
- all safety equipment and its location
- all models
- all sample/mineral sets
- basic chemicals (not the entire cabinet but rather the
common ones you might use in Geoscience)
- all audio-visuals (videos, slides, cds, dvds)
- all computers or other technology (probes, video or digital
cameras etc.)
- all posters/charts
- all toys that serve as demos (slinkys for wave propagation,
silly putty, gak* etc.)
*Gak is a toy that oozes over longer time periods but bounces like
rubber when thrown hard again a solid object.
