Reconstructing the glacial history and climate change record from Quaternary terrestrial and marine sedimentary sequences. Collection and analysis of high-resolution seismic data from fjord and continental shelf sedimentary sequences; lithologic and sedimentologic analysis of marine sediment cores (A, B, C).
Modeling former ice sheets and fjord-outlet glaciers from seismic- and litho- stratigraphic studies (A, B, C).
Geomorphology and evolution of surface environments of the terrestrial planets.
Geologic history and evolution of Mars atmosphere.
Hydrogeologic studies of glacial deposits in the upper midwest and related environmental problems. Geomorphological process studies and terrain analysis using Digital Elevation Models (D).
